I am very interested in a variety of different aspects of programming and game design in general. When I'm not programming I enjoy tinkering with my 3D printer, reading Terry Pratchett novels and of course playing a variety of video games. I'm also a bit of a board game /card game addict.
Hi, my name is Alan Aitken-Smith and I am a programmer. This is my portfolio where you'll find my various university projects, as well as side projects that I've done for fun and to learn new skills.
​​I previously studied at the University of Bolton where I completed my bachelors in games programming and my masters in games development.
I mainly use C# but I am happy to pick up new languages if needed for a project.
In the mean time I will be working on gamejams and personal projects to keep expanding my skill set and knowledge.
